1. Provider and company identity
SpanishPilot is provided by Svenochelly AB, a Swedish company. Company details and contact information are available on the Company Information page.
- Company details
- Company Information
2. Service model and scope
SpanishPilot is a Spanish learning service for English speakers, available through spanishpilot.com, the web app at app.spanishpilot.com, and supported iOS and Android app versions where released and configured.
The app is local-first. Core learning progress is stored on your device, and most learning features are designed to work offline. Features may vary by platform, app version, operating system, store availability, and device capabilities.
3. Pro purchases, prices, and delivery
SpanishPilot may offer an optional Pro unlock. Pro is a one-time non-consumable purchase in supported iOS and Android app versions where marketplace billing is available. It is not a recurring subscription.
The applicable price is the price shown in the relevant Apple App Store or Google Play purchase flow for your region, currency, and platform at the time of purchase. Purchases are processed by the applicable app marketplace under that marketplace's checkout terms, payment methods, and technical rules. Svenochelly AB does not receive your raw card details from these native checkout flows.
iOS and Android each require their own purchase. A purchase on one platform does not transfer to the other platform. Digital delivery begins when Pro access is unlocked in the relevant supported mobile app after purchase confirmation.
4. Digital content functionality and compatibility
SpanishPilot provides bundled language-learning content, local progress tracking, exercises, games, optional speech practice, reminders, widgets, and backup/import tools where supported. Core lessons and local progress are designed to work offline after the app has loaded, but speech recognition, purchase, restore, app updates, support links, and some platform services may require network access or operating-system support.
Browser use requires a modern browser with IndexedDB and local storage enabled. Mobile app features depend on the supported iOS or Android version, WebView capabilities, app-store availability, device permissions, installed speech voices, and platform speech recognition services. Manual backup/export files are JSON files created only when you choose that action.
Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup of app databases are disabled in the current Android configuration. To keep a copy of local learning progress, use the manual export/import feature where available.
5. Restore, refunds, and withdrawal rights
Restore is available only through supported Apple App Store or Google Play restore mechanisms built into the app. Restore may require the same store account used for the original purchase, the same platform family, network access during restore, and a supported app version.
Refund requests must normally be made through the billing channel that processed the purchase unless mandatory law requires another route. For Apple-billed purchases, the normal starting point is reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play-billed purchases, the normal starting point is Google Play refund help. Contact support@spanishpilot.com if you need help identifying the correct refund route or if you were charged but Pro did not unlock properly.
Under EU and Swedish distance-selling rules, digital content purchases may be subject to a 14-day withdrawal baseline unless an exception applies. Where mandatory law allows, by completing a Pro purchase you request immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that your withdrawal right may be lost once supply begins. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights relating to non-conforming digital content or digital services.
Model withdrawal form. If mandatory law gives you a withdrawal right and you want to notify withdrawal directly, you may email support@spanishpilot.com or write to Svenochelly AB, Västanågatan 26A, 582 35 Linköping, Sweden with the following information. App-store-billed refunds may still need to be requested through the Apple App Store or Google Play route above.
- I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my purchase of SpanishPilot Pro.
- Ordered on: [date].
- Consumer name: [your name].
- Store account or receipt identifier, if available: [identifier].
- Date: [date of notice].
6. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 16 years old to use SpanishPilot. Use requires acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The app stores a local acceptance record on your device so it can confirm that the current legal version has been accepted.
7. Acceptable use and suspension
You may not:
- use SpanishPilot for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or security-violating activity;
- attempt unauthorized access to any system, service, account, or store integration;
- interfere with service security, integrity, availability, or abuse-prevention controls;
- copy, scrape, bulk extract, resell, or redistribute app content except where law allows.
We may limit or suspend access when required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, infrastructure protection, or app-store policy compliance.
8. Intellectual property and license
Unless stated otherwise, SpanishPilot content, software, names, logos, interface design, lesson material, vocabulary items, grammar explanations, conversations, cultural content, and world designs are owned by Svenochelly AB or its licensors.
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial language learning use. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of intellectual property rights to you.
Third-party software license information is available on the Open Source Notices page.
9. Optional device features
Optional device and platform features depend on platform support and may require device permissions, system services, app-store services, or user-selected file/share actions. You can disable optional features in the app or device settings where supported.
10. Service availability and modifications
Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed. Availability is best-effort and no service-level agreement applies. A one-time Pro purchase does not create a perpetual availability guarantee for every feature, operating-system version, platform version, or future content update. Mandatory consumer-right remedies for non-conforming digital content remain unaffected.
11. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer law. If a clause conflicts with mandatory law, mandatory law prevails.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
SpanishPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, compatibility with every device, or specific language-learning outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Svenochelly AB is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Aggregate liability is limited to the higher of SEK 1,000 or the amount you paid for SpanishPilot in the previous 12 months, except where mandatory law requires a different result.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when legal, security, operational, product, or store-policy conditions change. Updated Terms apply from the effective date shown on this page. The app may ask you to accept updated Terms before continuing.
14. Governing law, complaints, and disputes
If you have a complaint, contact support@spanishpilot.com first and include the platform, app version, purchase channel where relevant, and a short description of the issue. We will try to resolve support, billing, and digital-content conformity issues directly.
EU consumers may also contact their national consumer authority or an applicable out-of-court dispute resolution body. In Sweden, the public consumer complaint body is Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is no longer available.
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are handled by Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court as first instance unless mandatory consumer rules require another forum or venue.
